Stats – 54.5% alcohol, 1989 Signatory bottling, Speyside
Price – $95
Color – Straw
Nose – Very slight earthy and fresh, maybe barely salty
Palate – A tangy citrus and buttery richness fills the mouth at the beginning. The spice of black pepper and a hint of medicine and iodine follow, but this remains sweet and pleasant. Just a bit of peat smoke and barrel oak, also a floral and grassy taste like alfalfa. Adding water opens the spice and pepper and nose is more citrusy.
