Singleton 12 Year

Singleton Taste Profile
Stats – 40% alcohol, owned by Diageo (but then again,  what isn’t), Speyside
Price – $45
Color – Dark Amber
Nose – Slight spice, malty sweet and apples
Palate – Very subtle and mild at the start.  The spice kicks up a bit at the body, but a pleasant apples and honey is right there with it.  The apple comes through even more as this one breathes too.  The flavor also shifts to a more floral side.  A touch of fresh grass and grain.  A bit of medicinal iodine.

Alternatives:

  1. Michter’s US*1 (92%)
  2. Glenmorangie 10 Year (90%)
  3. Springbank 10 Year (89%)
